The BEST group campsite in Australia's South West!

It has now been quite a few years since we have taken over managing the private group campsite facility southwest of Pemberton in the D’Entrecasteaux National Park; and we still recognise how few people are actually aware of its existence!

The hut was built for groups, clubs and families on the south side of the Yeagarup Dunes, enroute to the beach in the D’Entrecasteaux National Park and is only accessible by 4WD vehicle.

It was built with assistance from the WA 4WD Association, local fisherman and the Department primarily as a group camping facility, with a large undercover protected area suitable for groups of up to 40 people. There are toilets, a wet area and large kitchen sink area with preparation benches. A fire pit and gas BBQ are also provided as well as the best gas hot water shower and some 12V lighting.

Please note this is a private use only facility and is not accessible to the general public – you cannot pop in and ‘check it out’ without interrupting the privacy and safety of the group utilising the facility at that time. You are; however, welcome and encouraged to organise an appointment to view the facility, just give us a call or SMS on 0427133335

We do host a number of annual events using the Yeagarup Hut as base including the annual Beach clean-up (through Tangaroa Ocean Care Society) every November.

This facility is unique; it enables groups to camp without disturbing other campers, and it gives groups privacy in the heart of the D’Entrecasteaux. It books out quickly during salmon season – however is perfect for winter camping as there are a couple of dedicated rooms suitable for sleeping quarters.

The hut is available for everyone to use however all bookings are currently directed to Pemberton Discovery Tours – WA Wilderness based in Pemberton or you can book online

Join a 4WD club or Trackcare WA to receive 20% off the RRP (off peak only).
